A bit more...

Generally speaking, chiropractic care is meant to correct the small, spinal misalignments (known as subluxations) that cause nerve interference and a breakdown of proper tissue function. It is a natural way to help your body heal itself! I mostly use manual techniques for performing adjustments but I will use instrument-assisted techniques if deemed appropriate. The initial physical exam includes a variety of orthopedic and neurological tests in addition to the chiropractic evaluation to detect the cause of any symptoms. X-Rays may or may not be ordered, depending on the individual patient. I hope to lead you, your family and the entire community on the path to wellness! Dr. Joanne Bowen
